Two children in Stillwater are accused of causing $9,000 in damages to private property in the Village.

Police say the kids, ages 9 and 10, entered the property, drove a tractor until it broke down and filled the gas tank with oil, antifreeze and water. They are also accused of damaging a boat with an ax, starting a small fire and spray painting several vehicles on the property.

Both are charged with the equivalent of Felony Burglary and Felony Criminal Mischief.

They are being referred to Saratoga County Family Court through the Probation Department. Both were released to their parents.
