STEPHENTOWN - A Stephentown man is facing animal neglect charges.
State police received a tip that Christopher Stevens' four horses appeared underfed.
A veterinarian determined three of them were emaciated and two of them had other medical problems.
The horses are now at a new home.
Stevens is also charged with criminal possession of a weapon. While executing a search warrant on Stevens’ property, investigators also found a shotgun they say he had illegally.
