Of the kingdom of Agbor was joined by Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings on Thursday.
He says truancy is a big problem in his state and the governor there has just instituted marshals to make sure kids attend school.
“Because of the poverty level, what do you find at times, especially in some of the rural areas is that some of parents will need help at the farm, need help bringing in income. As you can imagine the child suffers because of this. This is one of the things I plan on discussing with Mayor Jennings,” said His Majesty.
The king also plans to visit the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering.
