Joey Paul is accused of killing Matthew Furlani in July 2012.
BALLSTON SPA - The trial for the Saratoga County woman accused of killing her live-in boyfriend has been postponed, again, as she undergoes a mental health evaluation.
Joey Paul is charged with murder in the July 2012 shooting death of her boyfriend, Matthew Furlani. The two shared an apartment in Schuylerville. Paul has claimed the shooting was an accident.
Her trial was originally scheduled to begin on Aug. 12 and then was postponed to Oct. 28.
Now, it is postponed indefinitely as Paul is evaluated at the Central New York Psychiatric Center in Marcy.
