MOREAU - The court case against a Saratoga County mother accused of hiring strippers for her son's 16th birthday party will continue.
A town judge in Moreau ruled on Wednesday that the case against Judy Viger should not be dismissed. Viger's attorney asked for the five endangering the welfare of a child charges to be thrown out.
Prosecutors contend Viger hired two strippers for her son's birthday party at a bowling alley in South Glens Falls. The district attorney says 15-year-olds were given lap dances by the strippers.
Police charged Viger after complaints from parents of the children who were at the party.
