ROTTERDAM - A man from Rotterdam will spend 15 years in prison for throwing explosive devices at a home last year.
Larry Ahrens was sentenced Thursday morning.
He admitted carrying out the attacks at the home on East Claremont Avenue, which belonged to a man who was dating Ahren's ex-girlfriend.
“It a hard hit, but it’s not a life ending hit, and unfortunately for Larry the evidence was overwhelming, and it could have put him in prison for several lifetimes. So, it’s a relief for him,” said Defense Attorney Cheryl Coleman
Ahrens carried out the attacks with two other men.
They also face first degree arson charges.
