ALBANY - The man who police say tried to kidnap two UAlbany students is now indicted on kidnapping and weapons charges. Anthony Collins pleaded not guilty in court during his arraignment on Tuesday.
Investigators say he approached the two women at a busy bus stop near UAlbany's downtown campus.
Police say Collins was caught on tape trying to kidnap the first student at knifepoint. Another student intervened, and she escaped. Collins remains in the county jail without bail.
