Early Morning Fire in Hudson Falls

Ken Grant

HUDSON FALLS - Firefighters were called to a home on North Street in Hudson Falls for a gas leak shortly after midnight Tuesday.

Officials say a man had barricaded himself inside the home.

NewsChannel 13 learned that the home was that of Robert Fenton.

Just before 3:30, police say he set the house on fire. Police rushed in and captured Fenton.

According to our media partners at the Post Star, Fenton has had issues with the Hudson Falls Police Department since this summer for bicycling tickets.

Fenton was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of burns to his arms and torso.

His injuries aren't considered life-threatening..
