Teen sentenced in connection with 2012 farmhouse arson

EAST GREENBUSH – A teenager was sentenced in Rensselaer County Court on Wednesday, for his role in the burning of an old farmhouse, last year.
Prosecutors say the teen, and three younger friends, set fire to the vacant "Kospa Family Farmhouse" on Start Road in September of 2012.
The 17-year-old was sentenced to five years probation, and must pay restitution. The other three teenagers, were dealt with through the Family Court system.
No one was hurt, but the farmhouse burned to the ground.
