Kids with head injuries may be at higher risk for depression

Kids who suffer traumatic head injuries may be at an increased risk for depression.

Researchers at brown University compared data on 2,000 kids with brain injuries, like concussions, and more than 3,000 kids diagnosed with depression.

They found depression was twice as likely in children who had head trauma.

The link had been reported previously in adults.
