We have a warning tonight for anyone who uses chemical peels.

Researchers say an acid, commonly used in these facial treatments, may cause cancer.

It's called trichloroecetic acid or TCA.

It's been linked to liver cancer in mice.

Researchers admit there is no conclusive data to show it causes cancer in humans but say, consumers should be aware of the potential risks.
