Cobleskill man charged with aggravated DWI

Joseph Hummel, 43, of Cobleskill charged with Aggravated DWI

COBLESKILL – A Cobleskill man is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level more than three times the legal limit.

Police charged 43-year-old Joseph Hummel with aggravated DWI.

Hummel was stopped on state Route 145. Police say he failed roadside sobriety tests.

He was taken the State Police barracks in Cobleskill where they say he registered a blood alcohol content of 0.28 percent.

The legal limit to drive in New York is 0.08 percent.
