State Police: Moreau man threw lye in son's face

WILTON – A Moreau man was arrested for allegedly threatening his son and throwing a chemical in his face.

William Creech, 52, was arrested by State Police on Thursday.

Police say Creech threatened his adult son with a knife, threw lye in his face and tried to hit him with his car.

Police say they arrested Creech in Wilton where he was seeking medical treatment for the chemical burns he sustained during the fight.

The victim has chemical burns to his face, neck and scalp.

Creech faces assault, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and reckless endangerment charges. He was sent to the Saratoga County jail in lieu of bail.
