COLONIE – Police have arrested the owner of a vehicle used in a shooting at Shenanigans in Colonie over the weekend.

Officials say 49-year-old Allan Frierson of Troy falsely reported that his Jeep Liberty had been stolen.

Police say that Jeep was driving by the bar when someone inside the vehicle fired shots and injured a bouncer.

Karl Richerson, 46, of Schenectady is recovering from a gunshot wound to the lower leg.

Frierson was arrested for hindering prosecution but Police don’t believe he was present during the shooting.

Police are still investigating and urge anyone with information to call Colonie Police.
