ALBANY – A Rochester man will spend 15 years in prison for trying to make child pornography.

In February, Jason Frank, 27, began chatting with an undercover police officer posing as a 12-year-old girl in Albany.

Police say Frank sent the officer pictures and videos of child pornography to try and get the “girl” to meet him at a hotel in Syracuse to make a sex tape.

Frank arranged a meeting with the “girl” in April and was subsequently arrested by Police.

Police say he had a digital camera and a thumb drive filled with pornography.
