Brawl with bar stool leads to assault charges

EAST GREENBUSH – An Albany man faces assault charges after police say he threw a bar stool into a crowd.

It happened early Saturday morning at Quigley's Restaurant.

Police say George Odom, Jr. was angry because he had been asked to leave.

Several people were hit by the stool.

One woman had to be treated at Memorial Hospital for injuries.

Odom was taken to the Rensselaer County Jail, in lieu of bail.
