The man who admitted to causing the crash that killed two Shenendehowa High School students one year ago, is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday.
Dennis Drue faces five to 15 years in prison. His attorney is asking for additional security at Saratoga County Court.
Earlier this year, Dennis Drue admitted to all 58 counts against him. That includes driving under the influence and speeding.
Shen seniors Chris Stewart and Deanna Rivers died in the crash.
Another Shenendehowa senior, Matt Hardy, and Shaker senior Bailey Wind, were seriously injured, but survived.
