ALBANY – Police have released the names of the two victims found dead in separate shootings over the last week.

The most recent shooting happened early Monday morning in the 300 block of First Street. Police say 20-year-old Yithro Morton was shot several times. He died at Albany Medical Center.

No arrests have been made so far.

Meanwhile, police continue to investigate a shooting at 326 Western Ave. That shooting happened on Dec. 4. Police say they found Caleb Capen dead inside the home.

A suspect, Oscar Valcarcel, is charged with a burglary at the home that happened around the same time as the murder, but police have not charged Valcarcel with the murder.

In 2010, Capen pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges.  He was arrested after police officers found dead and mutilated cats at his home.

This is the Western Avenue home, where police say one of the men was found dead.
