If you’re the Yankees, why not sign Masahiro Tanaka to a 7 year $155 million contract? Its' a lot of money, and there are no guarantees he will be worth it. But he is 25 years old, went 24-0 last year in Japan with a 1.24 era and apparently has a nasty splitter. Can't wait to see it, and why not in New York? Yankees needed another front line pitcher and now they have one.
