State Police say more charges have been filed against Herbert Weich in connection with the dogs that were seized from a property in Montgomery County.
Police are charging Weich with failure to provide proper sustenance, a violation of New York’s Agriculture & Markets Law.
Weich was given an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Root Court on Feb. 3.
A number of the dogs were removed earlier in January. Police went back a few weeks later and seized more dogs from the property. According to a vet’s report, the dogs had a number of health problems.
