COLONIE – The second suspect in a Colonie burglary has pleaded guilty to the crime.

Raymond Halacy admitted to breaking into a home on Thanksgiving with his brother John Halacy.

Another man, 18-year-old Andre Beverly, is also accused of helping the two steal guitars, a TV and other electronics from a home in Colonie.

John Halacy pleaded guilty to the attempted burglary last week. The 24-year-old Rensselaer man escaped rape charges in Rensselaer County after a mistake by the Rensselaer District Attorney’s Office.

John Halacy faces 5.5 years in prison. Raymond Halacy faces up to seven years behind bars.

Both men are being held without bail until their sentencing in April.
