ALBANY - A rally to protest the New York SAFE Act is scheduled Tuesday at the state Capitol.

Among those planning to attend are Donald Trump, Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino and Republican candidate for governor Rob Astorino.

Tom King of the State Rifle and Pistol Association told The Daily News he will not be at the rally.

In a letter to his members, King writes "the legislators know we are disturbed, don't care, and will not repeal the safe act just because we fill West Capitol Park."

King says his focus is to challenge the law in the courts.

There will also be road closures in place for the rally. A list of them can be found here.
