GLENMONT - A man will spend up to seven years in prison for his role in the Golden Town Buffet identity theft ring.
Pheng Sathongoth was sentenced Monday morning.
Santhongoth admitted to stealing customers’ credit card numbers, then using the information to buy thousands of dollars in merchandise.
Another employee, Heng Li, was previously sentenced on similar charges.
Police say Li and three other employees at the restaurant also had an active deportation order.
A total of five employees have been arrested.
The restaurant is now closed.
