Two charged with stealing Mother's Day flowers from grave

BALLSTON SPA – Two people are charged with stealing flowers someone left on a grave for Mother’s Day.

Police say a witness noticed Travis Lapell, 35, and Taiya Armer, 41, taking the flowers from his wife's grave in the Village Cemetery on Ballston Avenue.

The witness tracked the suspects back to a home where police arrested them.

Now, police want to know if anyone else has noticed graves that are missing items.
