ALBANY - The Department of Transportation is fining Canadian Pacific Railroad after a train carrying crude oil derailed in Albany yesterday.
Four cars derailed.
There were no spills.
But DOT says the company didn't report the derailment within the one hour required.
They say the railroad waited almost five hours.
There are growing concerns in Albany about the crude oil tank cars after some have exploded in North America causing a loss of life.
