A poll shows support for medical marijuana is slightly down from February, but New Yorkers still overwhelmingly support the drug for medical use.
A Quinnipiac University poll released today finds that 83 percent of New Yorkers support medical marijuana, down from 88 percent in February.
Fifteen percent of voters are opposed.
When asked if they support having a medical marijuana dispensary in their town or city, 62 percent of voters supported the idea, while 34 percent were opposed.
