The Department of Transportation is keeping the lights on all night at an Albany construction site, but it's for your safety.
A viewer wrote to NewsChannel 13’s Waste Watchers team to ask why the lights were on all night while no one was working on Route 85 in Albany.
A spokesman for the DOT says the lighting is being left on at night for the safety of motorists because the two lanes in each direction taper down to one.
They want to make sure those areas are well lit.
