It’s been called a life-saver in the fight against heroin.
This week, a number of training sessions are being held to teach people how to administer the drug Narcan – which reverses the effects of a heroin overdose.
The free sessions, which are open to the public, are hosted by Senator Kathy Marchione and Catholic Charities.
They will be held at the following locations:
Monday, July 21, at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Halfmoon Town Hall, 2 Halfmoon Town Plaza,
Tuesday, July 22, at 3:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Center Brunswick Volunteer Fire Company,
1045 Hoosick Road
Thursday, July 24, 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Hudson Elks Lodge, 201 Harry Howard Avenue
