Residents Approve Budget & Bus Purchase; Elect J. Glasser & A. Morone to the Board of Education

Averill Park Central School District residents have approved the $57,565,350 budget for the 2017-18 school year by a vote of 853 (yes) to 303 (no). The estimated tax levy increase is 2.94 percent, which meets the District’s tax levy limit under the state’s tax levy cap legislation.

Voters elected Jennie Glasser (908 votes) and Ann M. Morone (869 votes) to the Board of Education.

Residents also approved the bus and equipment proposition to purchase eight (8) school buses and one pick up/plow truck by a vote of 847 (yes) to 303 (no).
