Hundreds of students participate in annual 'Science Day'

More than 300 fourth graders got a lesson Thursday in science, technology, engineering and math.

It was the 29th annual "Science Day" at General Electric’s Global Research Center in Niskayuna.

The students witnessed a dozen experiments including a magic show using chemistry, a health lesson about bacteria, robotics and of course, slime.

The goal of the day is to help students experience firsthand the way science impacts everyday life.
