Residents still without power as next storm approaches

With another storm on the way, about 500 customers in the Capital Region are still without power. Most are in Columbia County and several dozen are still without power in Rensselaer County.

New York City is in worse condition. Nearly 90,000 residents in the New York City area still do not have power after Friday’s storm.The nor’easter brought flooding and heavy winds that brought down trees and power lines. A state of emergency remains in place for Dutchess, Putnam, Sullivan and Westchester counties.
