Colonie billboard helps in opioid addiction fight

COLONIE - Students at Colonie High School are trying to end the opioid crisis.

A new billboard was unveiled Thursday morning at the intersection of Central Avenue and State Route 155.

The winner is a 10th grade student, who told NewsChannel 13 she was inspired by her friend who is dealing with the opioid problem.

The slogan: "Be Smart, Don't Start: Opioid Addiction Kills."
