    A woman is in the hospital after officials say she fell down a 20-foot embankment. Fire officials say it happened at a home on Route 2 in the town of Brunswick. The woman apparently fell while doing some gardening and suffered serious lower-body injuries.

    Police in Pittsfield are asking for help finding a man they say tried to rob a taxi driver. Police say a man pulled a gun on the driver outside of the New Amsterdam Apartments on Bradford Street. They say the driver was able to defuse the situation and the robber left empty-handed.
