Attorney general's office responds to Spectrum complaints

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman's office finally got back to NewsChannel 13's Jerry Gretzinger this week about the wave of complaints we've received about Spectrum.
As you'll remember, countless viewers said they'd agreed to receive a "free" cable box from Spectrum and then got charged for it.
We checked with the attorney general's office six times before finally getting a response. They said only that:
"Our office is aware of consumer complaints and New Yorkers can contact our office if they wish to file one."
That's pretty vague, so we asked them to confirm whether the attorney general is actively looking into this particular issue. We haven't gotten a response so far. However, they did include a link where you can make a complaint.
