Elias Hajj Nasr and his wife, traditional Lebanese cuisine expert Hala Hajj Narr, make a taste-delighting Falafel with Dan in the Let's Eat Kitchen.

  1. FALAFEL Ingredients :

1lb of Chickpeas

Soak the Chickpeas from the night before

Ground the Chickpeas the day after with the following ingreedients:

  • Half pint of onion
  •  4 cloves of garlic
  •  5 pieces of parsley
  •  5 pieces cilantro
  • 2 Tea Spoons of Specific Falafel Seasoning
  • ½ tea spoon of salt
  • 1 tea spoon of baking soda
  • Heat Vegetable oil
  • Shape Falafel dough using spoon and falafel mold
  • Serve finished falafel with Tahini Sauce + Lettuce + Tomatoes + Turnip Pickles

TAHINI SAUCE :

  • 1 cup Tahini
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 1 tea spoon salt
