Capital Region sees fastest growing private sector economy in NY state

The Capital Region had the fastest growing private sector economy in the entire state last year. That's according to new numbers out by the New York State Labor Department.

Around 7,400 jobs were added in the Albany, Schenectady, Troy region. That's a 2.1 percent increase.

The state as a whole tacked on just over one percent of private sector growth last year.
