Abandoned dog making progress in recovery

The abandoned dog NewsChannel 13 first told you about Monday, is continuing to recover.

NewsChannel 13 checked with the Columbia-Greene Humane Society to see how "Penny" was doing. They tell us better, but she still has a ways to go.

Penny was found on the side of the road near the Schoharie Turnpike in Earlton. She had a severe case of mange and other skin infections.

A $500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible.

So far, no one has come forward.
