Abandoned dogs ready for adoption

There’s some encouraging news on nearly two-dozen neglected dogs in Fulton County. The James A. Brennan Humane Society says the 22 French Mastiffs have been freed for adoption. They're currently accepting applications.

The dogs, which became known as the Stratford 22, were badly malnourished when they were found at the home of 55-year-old Bently Valdez.

Nine dogs were found dead, another died while being treated by a vet.
