Albany High School reopens after brawl

Albany High School was back open Monday, but the district and police continue to investigate brawls that broke out last Thursday.

School opened with additional police presence.

As of Friday, an additional 18 students were identified as taking part. They will all be suspended at least five days. Some may be banned from the school for the rest of the school year.

The high school was closed Friday as staff scanned security video and social media posts to determine who was involved in the fight.
