Albany homicide has direct impact on mayor

Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan released a statement Tuesday evening regarding a homicide in the city on Saturday night.

She says the victim, 27-year-old Christopher Hardy of Albany, was her son's biological brother.

Mayor Sheehan says Hardy was also a wonderful father to his two young sons and will be dearly missed.

She asks for privacy as her family mourns this tragic loss.
