Albany man charged with grand larceny

LATHAM – State Police have charged a man from Albany with grand larceny.

They say John Manning was treasurer of a local veterans organization. Between January 2014 and July 2016, Manning is accused of embezzling more than $18,000. The money was reported missing last September.

Manning was sent to the Dutchess County jail on $20,000 bail.
