Albany School District names new superintendent

ALBANY -- The Albany School District has a new superintendent.

Kaweeda Adams will now lead the district. She comes from Nevada, where she is was an associate superintendent in charge of 24 schools and 28,000 students.

There will be a meet and greet with the new superintendent before the board of education meeting on July 13.
