Albany gears up for St. Patrick's Day Parade

ALBANY - The big St. Patrick's Parade in Albany is Saturday.

The traditional route starts on Central Avenue at Quail and proceeds east on Central and then on Washington Avenue to State and Pearl Street.

The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. Road closures and parking restrictions begin at 11 a.m.

The North Albany Limerick Parade begins Saturday at noon.
