BALLSTON SPA -- An Altamont man was arrested Wednesday and charged with stealing firearms.

Police say 21-year-old Maximilian Chambliss entered a home on Farr Rd. in Corinth on Feb. 10 and stole numerous firearms, including at least two long guns and four handguns.

According to authorities, some of the firearms have been recovered in the Albany area, but others remain missing. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office asks that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the guns contact them at 518-885-6761.

The investigation remains open and police expect more arrests to be made. Chambliss is due in court on April 4.
