Montgomery County mom charged after child found in grocery store parking lot

PALATINE BRIDGE - A Fort Plain woman is accused of leaving her 6-year-old son in the parking lot of a supermarket  -- outside the car-- while she picked up groceries.

Amy Reese, 45, is now charged with child endangerment.

State police say it happened at the Price Chopper in Palatine Bridge on Nov. 15. They say a passerby went to get help, but Reese left with the boy before police arrived.

Reese was released and issued an appearance ticket.
