It’s a surprise to many how cursive writing is now considered by some people as no longer relevant. Keyboards and technology are said to blame. While Anna Williams loves to text, this teen makes it her business to remind people that one of the best ways of communicating is a letter written with a good pen.
Anna fell in love with the art of making pens when she was just 8-years-old, but it wasn't until she was 10 that she crossed the "Ts" and dotted the "Is" and started PensInk.com -- her company.
Anna has garnered wood from across the country and makes a signature line of historical pens. She’s also expanded her business to include pens made from precious metals and stones.
Next year, this ambitious junior will actually graduate from Niskayuna High School by doubling up and taking senior classes too.
She will study business in college and hopes to write her own ticket.
