Annual Winterfest held in Clifton Park

CLIFTON PARK – The weather was perfect on Saturday for Clifton Park's Winterfest.

The annual festival kicked off Saturday morning at the Clifton Commons. Hundreds came out to enjoy a day of winter activities, entertainment and a variety of competitions. One of the most highly anticipated events this year was the second annual outhouse races.

“A lot of Winterfest is happening indoors. We're proud of the fact that its winter, there's snow on the ground and we're running outhouses on skis,” said Raymond Anthony of the Shenendehowa Rotary Club.

The outhouse race raises money for the Shenendehowa Rotary Club to help fund community events throughout the year.
