Police: Columbia County woman lied about break-in

A woman from Columbia County suffers a head injury and tells police she was attacked by a man who broke into her home. However, police say she made the whole thing up.

State police say 50-year-old April Law reported she returned to Stuyvesant Friday afternoon and was attacked by an intruder in her home.

Police say they found no signs of a break in and instead found evidence that revealed Law lied.

She's charged with falsely reporting an incident.
