Arrest made in deadly Adams hit-and-run

ADAMS, Mass. - An arrest has been made in a deadly hit and run in Adams.

David Sookey Jr., 61, was arrested Tuesday afternoon. He faces charges in the death of 85-year-old Theresa Marby.

Marby was found lying in the road on Dean Street Friday morning.

The Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office says Sookey is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident and obstructing a police investigation.

He was released on his own recognizance and is due in court Tuesday morning.
