Baby duck deaths under investigation in Fulton County

August 09, 2017 08:03 AM

The slaughter of some baby ducks on the Great Sacandaga Lake is being investigated. The state Department of Environmental Protection and Fulton County authorities hope witnesses may be able to help them find out who is responsible.

Authorities believe the ducklings were killed late Sunday morning near Batchellerville Bridge. Two young men on jet skis were seen circling the ducks and then driving directly over them.
